What is boba, and how is it made?
Boba, or tapioca pearls, are chewy spheres made from tapioca starch. We cook them fresh daily at Luna and soak them in a brown sugar syrup, giving them a delightful, chewy texture. They're served in a variety of our milk teas, fruit teas, and specialty drinks.
